After conversations with the artists, CIWA established a unified visual identity for dogbit that began with a fresh logo. A structured campaign followed that included website design, social media posts, targeted press pitching, playlist pitching, music videos and a gig to promote the music launch, all by CIWA. Artwork for the EP revolved around feelings and tones that were discussed with the client before several rounds of amended designs. Read full article here. The article asked the question: "Is The Green Party The Way Forward?" for British politics. It was an inspiring, hopeful and forward-looking piece and I wanted to convey this sense of growth within the illustration. I focussed around the central image of the sunflower that appears as the ident of the Green Party to create a piece that promised a green growth in conjunction with and alongside business and the city. Published in BRICKS magazine online 29th May 2021. The iconic image became the cover of the Squatter's Handbook in 1979. Paying tribute to that image, I collaged aspects of the original photograph of Olive with drawn and cut-out elements to build up the scene.
