Til Death Do Us Part

Theatre 503

The brief required finding a sensitive medium between displaying the tonal gravity of this tragedy while not giving away the plot of the play, or warding people off with a downbeat image.

After 15 years of marriage, Daniel and Sylvia find themselves drifting further apart with each passing day. Until one morning, they find themselves abruptly united by every parent’s worst nightmare…

Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,         Enwrought with golden and silver light,        The blue and the dim and the dark cloth        Of night and light and the half-light,        I would spread the cloths under your feet:        But I, being poor, have only my dreams;        I have spread my dreams under your feet;        Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.        Aedh Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven by W.B. Yeats, 1899
