GRACE

Jackson’s Lane

Richard Vincent’s play GRACE was originally written for and performed at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. In 2022, it is to be remounted as a professional production at Jackson’s Lane Creative Space in North London.

Included below are the design drafts and final poster for the show, which ran with an image that drew out the physicality of food which ran through the play.

Grace works for a catering company, struggling to make ends meet, but when she ends up working a charity event run by an intolerant task master, she finds her life becoming a whole lot more complicated, especially when she ends up hitting her boss in the face.

Writer - Richard Vincent

Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,         Enwrought with golden and silver light,        The blue and the dim and the dark cloth        Of night and light and the half-light,        I would spread the cloths under your feet:        But I, being poor, have only my dreams;        I have spread my dreams under your feet;        Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.        Aedh Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven by W.B. Yeats, 1899
